Wall to wall sunshine in France today and the flashy Jarillo ( Milo) who possesses both talent and bling in droves was on fire in his first international. The photo of him cross country does look like he is going through a swamp but it is one of Le Pin’s big water fences and Milo rose to the challenge in every way. He completed on his dressage which leaves him still just 0.1 off the lead with so much to play for in the showjumping finalé tomorrow.
The 4*S showjumping didn’t throw up any surprises at the top of the leaderboard with Tim jumping clear on Happy Boy to edge a bit closer to the leader who picked up 0.4 of a time penalty. Tim now sits in 2nd by 0.4 so it is all about the margins this weekend for Tim!
Jonelle and Killbunny Andy tipped a rail and added 1 second over time to slip from 8th to 14th whilst the jumping bean that is Grappa Nera (Grape) jumped clear with just 1 second over for a 0.4 penalty and rose a whopping 42nd to 23rd. Tayla Mason and Centennial ( Chase) added a rail and 1.2 time to slide from 31st to 43rd. It’s all about the jumping in Haras.
