More dressage today with Tim just having Senza Fine in the CCIO4 *S for her first tilt at this level and a 33.5 was pretty cool for a first go at a test that included piroettes and flying changes!  Like Grape she also got a 9 from one judge for her entry which was a great start and bodes well for the future as great starts lead to great marks. With Sir Mark Todd and Leonidas putting in a super test to sit just ahead of Tim and Spartaco and Bango (Uno) the team are into 4th, just a whisker off bronze in the Nations Cup!  Nothing like a Nations Cup for a bit of competition to bring to the table!

Jonelle had Grovine de Reve in the CI4*L and his score of 32.6 was good enough for 11th at the end of the session which is less than 10 marks behind the leader but I am sure Jonelle would have been happier to be in the high twenties! Reve is a work in progress and he is never going to be the flashiest on the flat but he is a super jumper and they will both be looking forward to the next two phases. He also got a 9 for his entry so the Price’s are certainly nailing the first movement!

Tayla Mason has her own Centennial (Chase) in the CI3*L for his first long format in Europe and they sit just 5.1 marks off the lead on a 35.4 which is a very good effort, not least as Chase is a big as any of Tim’s horses and Tayla is smaller than Jonelle!

Roll on the jumping…
