Barbury Sunday

Barbury Sunday

A short and sweet visit to Barbury on a sunny Sunday morning with a bare minimum of Team Price!  We had Jonelle, Grovine de Rev, Tim and Otis and Hayley and it was nice to have Lauren Hough on hand to help TP in the warm up with Rev.  As always the CI4* track was a decent one with plenty of rails coming down although this class didn’t use the top end of the  arena as the 4* cross country nipped in to jump through the water c0mplex up there.

Fair to say that Rev jumped the best round he has jumped for Jonelle and they gave a quite spectacular display of athletic ability and never looked like even touching a pole.  It was a super clear and nice for Jonelle as she didn’t have the best of weekends whilst Tim was scooping up all the prizes!  Had Rev run he would certainly have been in a very competitive position so all looks good for Jardy.

Jonelle then doomed a vibrant pink T shirt to give some video messages of support to the Pony Club back in NZ which was filmed by Simon Bennet ( our new High Performance Director) while Tim attempted to get Otis to be a bit more animated for his appearance.  Otis was unimpressed as he was pretty hampered by his Pony Club shirt which was more like a kaftan and as a result if he moved he face planted.  He wisely decided to stay still which was more than could be said for Tim who continued to act like a children’s TV presenter on Spice.

So a great end to the weekend and another fun Barbury done and dusted.  Dusted being the word really as all of the vehicles that flew in and out over the last few days look like they have just done the Paris-Dakar!
