Hot but cloudy in Aachen on Friday afternoon and Jonelle and Faerie Dianimo ( Maggie May) looked pretty awesome in the collecting ring.  They went into  the main arena which is one of Maggie May’s favourite main arena’s in the world and for the fourth time in her career she cantered down the centre line to strut her stuff in front of the judges.  She was delighted to see a big crowd and her test was just marred by silly mistakes due to her spooking which, in true Maggie May form, is a new thing in the last year. She finished up on 31.6 in 14th when she could have quite easily vied for the lead.

Just a few horses later and Vitali and Tim were heading down the centre line and Vitali was a little peacocky wanting to have a look around but it was still a magical test and they looked a great partnership as they stepped up to their first five star with total use and confidence.  They scored 27.1 to sit in third overnight.
