The Greatest Show on Earth is back for 2021…. some 18 months after it last ran in 2019. There are some strict protocols like mask wearing and the never ending testing but Aachen is a very special place and its hallowed turf in the main arena simply like no other.
The traditional Friday night BBQ over on the cross country is also a casualty of covid but the amazing Nations Cup competition that runs tonight in the main arena is very much on and I have no doubt our troops will be watching the best in the world jump in the iconic arena.
The team jogged this afternoon and although the weather has been pretty autumnal it is set to improve for tomorrows dressage and jumping phases. Dressage times are CET ( Central European Time) so an hour ahead of UK time.

The only way to view is through subscription to either FEI TV or ClipMyHorse.de. Both of these offer a trial period, the tricky bit is getting out of it!
We have the awesome Libby Law on site so we can expect some more great images tomorrow.
